When I was about 8 years old, my younger sister got a bunch of Fisher Price Little People. I wanted a set of my own, but by then I was way too old for preschool level toys. I satisfied myself by playing with my sister's people when she wasn't around and complaining that she always got all the "good" toys.

I am so excited about finding the Play Family House shop! There are photos of Little People scenes on greeting cards, photo prints, and framed "portraits"--and they all make me smile! I think I'll send one to my mom just because I can; after all, she was too old to have her own set to play with, too.

I love these too! Great memories. I found some recently at a flea market and hope to get them soon!
I love the little people too! I remember the little people school bus.
We used t have them at school, but my wife said she had a whole collection of them when she grew up...I was into tonka trucks. must bbe a guy thing
What a great idea, these are socute! That dog is one of my favorites of the little people series -
Little People and Weeble Wobbles. Nothing better!
What a clever idea!

I had some of those little people as well. My mother-in-law still has some of my husbands and his brother's... I admit, I still like playing with them! :)
I loathe what Little People have become. They were so much better back when we were kids. My kids wouldn't touch the new-fangled Little People. But when they got near a playset at my old gym? I had to pull them away.
I had a huge set of these! I had a hospital and a school with a school bus. That brings back such wonderful memories! I'm going to have to get me some of those prints! Thanks for finding those.
Ha thanks for the flashback! I even had a little boat to bring the little people in the tub.
I'm a weebles wobble but don't fall down girl....
I personally liked the Lego people, They could stick on the set.

This is just wonderful! I had always told my kids how wonderful "our" little people were when we were kids. They were so much better. I so loved my house and the school house. Thanks for posting the pix. My kids were laughing. I guess they didn't think the original little people are as great as I claimed them to be - but they are!.
Thanks for the website. I hope they have Christmas cards, cause if they do, that's what I"m sending this year.
PS - The dog was my favorite. It was so nice to see him again.

Could this be a favorite song of yours? Spooky eh?
:)
I had the boat too! And the farm with a silo and the school house. My sister had the Weebles haunted house and the ghost glowed in the dark. That's when toys were FUN! :D
